Privacy policy
Last updated: 10 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Technosids (“we”, “us”) collects through technosids.com, why we collect it and what rights you have. If you have any questions, email info@technosids.com.
Who we are
Technosids is based in London, United Kingdom. We are the controller of personal information collected through this website.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, company name, and optionally your phone number and website address, the services you are interested in and the message you write. We also record which page you were on before the contact page, so we know what you were reading.
Our web server keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working. The enquiry form uses a privacy-friendly spam check that stores a one-way scrambled version of your IP address for a short time to limit repeated submissions.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask for one, prepare a proposal.
- To keep a record of our correspondence with you.
- To protect the website and form from spam and abuse.
Our lawful bases under UK data protection law are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and keeping the site secure. We do not sell your information or add you to marketing lists without your permission.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers who help us run the website and our email, such as our web hosting company and email provider. They process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond to you and manage any work that follows. Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted once they are no longer needed.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies unless you accept them. If analytics are enabled, a banner will ask for your permission first, and you can change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser. We remember your choice in your browser’s local storage.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it or ask us to restrict its use. Email info@technosids.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the way we handle personal information changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
